IONIA, Magnesia ad Maeandrum. Maximus. Caesar, AD 235/6-238. Æ (22mm, 5.43 g, 6h). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed but right, seen from behind / River-god Maeandros reclining left, holding reed and resting elbow on urn from which water flows. Schultz, Münzprägung 359 (V8/R17); RPC VI Online 5208. Red-brown surfaces, light porosity. VF. Extremely rare, only two known to Schultz and RPC. This coin finer than either specimen, the third known. None in CoinArchives.
